Lee R. Carr II is the owner of Carr Law Group, PA in St. Petersburg, an elder law practice focused on Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, and Medicaid planning. The transfer and distribution of real assets and property being a substantial portion of the practice.
Currently, Mr. Carr is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law where he instructs courses relevant to elder law. He is also an adjunct professor at St Petersburg College
Mr. Carr earned his B.A. degree with High Honors from Eckerd College and his J.D. degree cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the St. Petersburg and Clearwater Bar Associations, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Shawn M. Yesner, a Florida native earned his B.S. in accounting from Florida State University and his J.D. degree from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University. Mr. Yesner has extensive title and closing experience, beginning with his first associate attorney position in Miami in 1998. From there, he became an associate attorney at one of the largest lender foreclosure firms in Florida. In addition to prosecuting foreclosures on behalf of the lenders, Mr. Yesner represented his lender clients in REO closings, issuing title insurance, filing title claims, correcting title defects, and closing construction loans.
After building a successful multi-practice firm, Mr. Yesner founded Yesner Law, P.L. in 2012 to provide his clients with options to reduce debt and regain their lives.
A highly-sought speaker at multiple Legal and Realtor Continuing Education Seminars, Mr. Yesner also a member of the Bay Area Real Estate Counsel and The Florida Bar, Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section. He serves his community as a pro bono attorney for the Stetson University College of Law Veterans Law Institute, and St. Petersburg Bar Association Community Law Program. Mr. Yesner serves on two committees supporting the Westchase Community Association.
